State owned industrial facilities located in Surenshahr, primarily devoted to the manufacturing of licenced aircraft and vehicle engines, with a sideline in developing indigenous designs that could be used in domestically built mechanical constructs.
Has also dabbled in domestic armaments manufacturing.
Following the Norasht campaign, the Lady of the Suren had consulted with her sages and summoned forth four foreign advisors from distant parts whom she had tasked with developing an indigenous armoured vehicle manufacturing capacity for the Suren Confederacy. These four individuals, the agha sahibs Fuller, Hart, Hobart, and Stern, had been kept under conditions of strict purdah at the palaces of Surenshahr, excepting only strictly supervised visits to the SCMO manufacturing facilities. This state of affairs persisted for three years until, unexpectedly, the four gentlemen, rumoured in the bazaars to have been either of Floria or Benacian stock, were abruptly packed off to the port of Kara where they were bundled aboard a chartered bulk transporter onto which they disappeared to participate in the Lake Norton Expedition and thereafter play no further part in the history of the SCMO.
