The XII.1714 Edition of Reform

Reform is a Nouvelle Alexandrie political and cultural magazine published in Cárdenas, Nouvelle-Alexandrie. It was founded in 1714 AN as a monthly review of politics, being connected to Pedro Costranaz, a renown social reformer and journalist, as well as economist Gerard Martinez, and sociologist Jose Catala, both members of the progressive group known as the Liga Reformista. The political journalist Rosa Siurana, who worked for NBC Newsfeed before, is a founding director and the current editor-in-chief.

It is a print-digital hybrid. According to their own present description, it takes a liberal and progressive political position. According to Siurana, it is a newspaper that is first and foremost "a political and literary magazine", but with "sceptical" journalism. The magazine was founded with a clear intent to support the ideological ideas of the Federal Consensus Party, however takes a genera view of politics and literature. The magazine is known for its thorough and professional investigate journalism, headed by Martinez. Especially the rubric 'Follow the Money' is known for its strong and lengthy investigations into financial-economic research and interviewing, including of politicians.

Circulation started low, but has since increased with the advent of (paid) digital versions. The certified average circulation, as of 1717 AN, held steady at 45,000 along with 20 million page views and 3 million distinct users. The newspaper has specifically high readership among young adults and urban households.

In 1717 AN, Reform Tech was launched as a quarterly appendix to the magazine, focusing on science and technology. In the same year, the first annual Winter Special was issued, which are bigger editions to the normal magazine with more interviews and the rubrics 'Political Year in Review' and 'New Year's Wish-list'.
