Pati Yala Association is the organising body for the sport of Pati Yala within Sanama. It is also considered the ruling international body for the sport. The association is not a federation of teams or local associations, instead it is an association formed by three national members: Sanilla, Amarra and Estarisa, being the three traditionally Sanaman areas. The three national members also have separate representation in international games.
