Born to a Saxon-speaking family in the Craitish dominion of Zandarijn, Nimitz served on the city council of his hometown Oudorp (now known as Altdorf) from 1690 AN-1724 AN. After becoming a close friend and confidant to one Ludwig von Heida-Weisse in the early 1720s, he went on to be appointed the first Chancellor of the UPC by the Proclamation of Weisenburg.
