Kurum Ash-Sharqia was represented at Microvision 2021 by Maher Zain, with the song "Mawlaya" (مولاي).
Description
Kurum Ash-Sharqia was born out of a desire for linguistic freedom and a deep Islamic devotion. This song represents an ancient Arabic tradition of religious poetry and song, which is still immensely popular.
