The Praetorian Expeditionary Unit, a volunteer formation, formed from the 1st Cohort of the 1st Legion of the Praetorian Guards of the Hexarchy. Contributed to the loyalist forces of the Raspur Pact during the Second Elwynnese Civil War. Garrisoned at Avakir (17.III.1692 AN – 21.VI.1693 AN) and attached to the Sathrati Expeditionary Force. Participated in the First Battle of Fieldburg (21.VI.1693 AN – 5.VIII.1693 AN). Withdrawn from frontline after enduring 78 fatalities (56 light infantry, 22 heavy infantry) (4.VII.1693 AN). Withdrawn to Tephal for reorganisation and re-retraining, with force expansion facilitated by introduction of Androphagi and Dromosker levies recruited by the Honourable Company (10.VII.1693 AN – 12.V.1694 AN).
