Battle Zone is included with each Micras Warfare instalment but players are not required to purchase the relevant game. Battle Zone was originally developed by VISOR and published by Monster Interactive. Battle Zone online multiplayer allows a maximum of 200 players but it is more common to see lobbies only limited to 150. In 1693 AN, Monster Interactive announced that BlackOUT would take over the development of the game in time for the release of Micras Warfare:Covert Ops 2. After the disastrous performance of Micras Warfare 2, further support for the game was stopped however the game is still playable.
