I did some work on this infobox. Have a look at this Template's sandbox. I think this is an improvement to the template. I'm just struggling with those green lines. Frans (talk) 21:35, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

That should fix the unintentional extra lines. Just remember that editing a template used by a large number of articles will affect all of them. Craitman (talk) 01:31, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
Yes off course. That's why I did it in the sandbox first. I just can't seem to get it right there. I want to have it right before I copy and paste it to the actual template. Thanks!

I'm not sure party_articletitle is supposed to be filled in. It gives funny results. Frans (talk) 08:14, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
It definitely is, that's how you change the colour of the lines. It's tied to a template format that works with election infoboxes too. See some of the existing ones with a variety of colours: Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Infobox_Political_Parties. Craitman (talk) 11:06, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
Check what happens if I also mention party_articletitle : Template:Infobox Political Parties/testcases. I don't understand. Frans (talk) 12:33, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
Well you've not entered anything in that example. See the Nationalist & Humanist Party instead, which uses it correctly. The infobox then calls this template to change the lines to the colour specific to that party (hex code #141313). The same template also works with the election infoboxes so the same colour appears there too; in the N&H's instance, this election is one of many where the same #141313 will appear for the party. How ingenious! I love it! Thanks for the explanation. I think the testcase is now ready to be copied and pasted into the actual template. Frans (talk) 09:39, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
