Whereas public holidays are not only an important element of social life, they also reflect the cultural identity of a nation and it is desirous that public holidays in Gotzborg be clearly identified.
Be it decreed by His Royal Majesty, King August Charles II, by and with the advice and consent of the Government and Peoples of Gotzborg, in this Chamber of Deputies here assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Short Title
1. This Act may be cited as the Public Holidays Act.
Definitions
2. A public holiday shall be one so designated by this Act.
Public Holidays
3. Public Holidays recognized within the Kingdom of Gotzborg shall be as follows:
- January 1 - New Year's Day
- June 15 - Flag Day[1]
- July 22 - King's Birthday
- July 24 - Unity Day
- October 18 - Pendronia Day
- November 15 - Stormark Day
