The Order of the Serene Pools is a contemplative Melusinian lay society of the Church of Caputia in Nouvelle Alexandrie. Counted to Uita's current of wisdom, it is one of the faith's recognized lay orders alongside the Society of the Harmonious Current and the Congregation of the Calm Waters, and is set apart by its keeping of the temples and its prayer of the hours of washing.

The Order tends the temples, shrines, and the sacred pools and household fonts that hold a central place in Melusinian worship, maintaining these sites and supporting congregations that lack a permanent temple. Its contemplative charge stands beside the active charity of the Society of the Harmonious Current, which cares for the poor, the sick, and the newcomer; together the lay orders carried the devotional and social life of the faith through the displacement of the Caputian diaspora that followed the White Plague and the collapse of Caputia, when a formal clergy was scarce.
