The hall is contaminated with an incapacitating chemical agent, rendering most operatives ineffective. "Taskmaster", an elite CIB agent wearing a signature gas mask, is dispatched to neutralize the threat. Taskmaster successfully defuses the bomb in a race against time, saving countless lives.

Taskmaster starts off in the city of Oldhaven with a concert about to start in one of its prestigious concert halls but as soon as the Orchestra has finished tuning, the conductor is shot dead and a rampage of terrorist militia raid the auditorium taking the musicians and audience hostage.
After the successful operation, Taskmaster returns home, only to be unexpectedly kidnapped by thugs and taken to an abandoned rail yard. He is bound and forced to confront the senior leaders of the terrorist group, but remains silent, refusing to reveal information about the CIB. The captured VIP from the concert is executed in front of him as a warning. Taskmaster swallows a cyanide pill in an attempt to escape, but it turns out to be a fake. He wakes up in the CIB headquarters, realising he was part of an elaborate loyalty test orchestrated by the organisation to uncover leaks.

CIB and FDI operatives including Taskmaster arrive on the scene with the signature gas mask whilst the concert hall has been contaminated with incapacitating agent. Operatives rush to eliminate the militia whilst Taskmaster attempts to rescue one of the VIPs who has had his operations compromised. It is revealed that the concert hall has been laid with a bioweapon bomb deep underground. Taskmaster rushes to find the device and defuses the bomb with barely any seconds left.
Taskmaster is assigned a new mission: to track down a rogue Florian Oligarch whose financial transactions have raised suspicions. During his investigation, Taskmaster discovers that the Oligarch is linked to RedWater, a Private Military Company that has received illegal military-grade equipment. It is revealed that RedWater has hijacked a Florian nuclear submarine armed with an ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile), which they plan to launch to trigger a global conflict.

After the successful operation, Taskmaster returns home but is then kidnapped unexpectedly by thugs.
Taskmaster teams up with Lira Volk, a private arms dealer who has previously done business with RedWater. Lira has become suspicious of their increasingly dangerous operations. Together, they uncover RedWater's plan to launch the ICBM at [[Benacia]], a fragile region that dictates the fragile peace between the world’s superpowers.
Taskmaster wakes up tied up alongside the VIP which Taskmaster encountered at the Concert Hall on abandoned rail tracks with senior leaders of the terrorist group. The VIP is executed but Taskmaster who refuses to disclose information takes a cyanide pill.

Taskmaster later wakes up the next day in CIB offices realising the pill was fake. He is then later assigned to hunt down a Florian Oligarch who has had unusual transactions globally.
As the countdown to launch the ICBM begins, Taskmaster infiltrates RedWater's compound in a desperate bid to prevent global catastrophe. In a final showdown with Elias Kray, the mercenary leader behind the hijacking, Taskmaster must navigate a heavily guarded submarine base and stop the missile launch before it’s too late. The mission culminates in a high-stakes battle, with Taskmaster facing tough moral decisions and ultimately saving the world from the brink of destruction.

After the mission, Taskmaster reflects on the corrupt forces within the CIB and other global organizations. Although the immediate threat is neutralized, he is left with the knowledge that larger conspiracies still lurk beneath the surface. Taskmaster walks away from the organisation, disappearing into the shadows, ready for the challenges that lie ahead.
