Marinsk is an industrial city located in Outer Mesoun, Northeastern Floria. It is the administrative capital of the region. Since its establishment in the 1720’s the city has become a major economic, industrial and scientific centre of Floria located outside the Western states.
The city was the epicentre of the Mesoun Crisis being the logistical hub of separatist movements and was eventually taken back by Floria in 1730 AN.
History

Mesoun Crisis
The city was at the epicentre of the Mesoun Crisis being the first and largest city held by Mesoun Republican League separatists during the conflict. Florian police offered no resistance at the start of the conflict and the city fell temporarily to the insurgents who eventually declared Mesoun an independent nation, this sparked the conflict after the assasination of the City’s founder and President Isabelle Chopin.
During the conflict the city was assaulted heavily by shelling with high numbers of civilian casualties. The city was eventually taken back into Florian control with the Florian right wing populist Democratic Conservative Party becoming the governing party in the city council.
Reconstruction of the city was slow causing further outrage from residents. Upper and middle class families left the city for Dongrad whilst the city was left with working class people forced into weapons production.
