History
The club was founded in 2007 as Mahata Seagulls FC.
Mahata Seagulls FC was then bought by the Ngaplang Group and was renamed Mahata Ngaplang FC in 2023.

The club trained in the Tuan Field and the Davinson Sports Ground as teams rotate their training surfaces.
