The Sazeman-e Ettela'at va Amniyat-e Suren (SAVAS: the Intelligence and Security Organisation of the Suren), a secret police and counterespionage service with a remit over the population and territory of the Suren Confederacy, was established in 1709 AN with the passing of the Intelligence and Security Organisation of the Suren Act in that year by the Majles-e Suren.
The SAVAS operates under the direction of the Timsar-e Ettelâ'ât va Amniyat-ē Kešvar.
