Riza Al-Jahbe Thabian is a warlord, drug trafficker and head of the Thabian clan that controls the Ashad region. Thabian controls the region in Zeed's rural South West through an intricate web of family- and business connections. In early 1689, Riza Thabian proclaimed the Ashad Republic, which is one of the constituent autonomous republics of the Union. He subsequently took office as the first President of Ashad.
