Slobovish or Slobovian is the language of the Slobovians.

Dictionary

Phonetics:
The vowels are primarily German in pronounciation, with three that need special notice:
æ- like a in cat, when long extend the sound.
ø- Say a German short e with your lips rounded for u when short, a long e with the lips rounded for u when long.
y- Say a German short i with your lips rounded for u for the short, a long i with the lips rounded for u when long.
Vowels are typically made long by being followed by a single consonant or a silent h, which makes them long.
Diphthongs-
ou- Like oo in cool.
au- Like ou in cloud.
ie- like ee in green.
ei- like ay in way
ai- like i in high.
eu- like oy in boy
Consonants: (those that sound differently only covered here)
Ch- Like a soft German ch.
Ð- Th in the
G- Always like G in gap
Gh- Like a hard German ch.
H- Used to make vowels long in some occasions, otherwise like h in harbor.
J- Like y in yes
L- Like l in laugh, never like l in bell.
R- Said as in German
S- Like a z at the beginning of a word of when single and between two vowels.
ß- Like s in yes.
Þ- Like th in thin.
V- Like f in fall.
X- Like k in king.
Z- Like ts in cats.
Hw- A mixture of h and w, as some dialects pronounce wh in English.
Wr- A French r (mix of h and r)

Grammar-
Word Order: The verbs go in the second position of a normal statement. After a subordinating conjunction the verbs move to the end of the phrase, in a question the conjugated verb moves to first position. Subject goes first or second, if in order dative will go before accusative, and instrumental will go before dative, then any prepositional phrases, in the order of time, manner, place.
Cases:
Nominative- Used for subjects (IE the thing performing the action) and nouns connected by linking verbs (IE to become and to be).
Accusative- Used for the direct objects (IE the thing that the action is being performed on) of a sentence, the objects of accusative prepositions, or a phrase of specific time (every night).
Dative- Used for the indirect objects (IE the thing that is receiving the action) of a sentence, the objects of dative prepositions, or a phrase of general time (some night).
Genetive- Used to show possession, in the phrase Jon's book, Jon's is in the genitive case.
Instrumental- Used to show the means by which the action is being performed. The phrase "by car" would, in slobovian, lose the preposition, and be put into the instrumental case.
