Estadio Varela, known for colloquially as El Varela, is a 58,123-seat stadium in the Aldurian capital, Punta Santiago. The stadium is known as the "Mother of Aldurian Football" referring to its importance in the development of Aldurian football and Aldurian gridiron football.
The stadium has also held rugby union matches and serves as a large music venue and for many special national events.
