History
The area around Lake Noursala has been inhabited since the first people's settled in the valleys of Aerla. The modern incarnation of the city came as a village during the Hatayan era, where it was a small fishing community. The city continued to be an important center of commerce of the area even after the collapse of Hatay. During the founding of the nation, the city was declared to be the nation's capital, as it was seen to be the most centrally located city of appropriate size to host the nation's government. The development of Industry soon began, with most being concentrated in the "Steam City" bureau.
