Naval, known as Zhongjing in Jingdaoese, was a major city in the Barbarian Republic, located at the Strait of Barbary. It was the most ancient city of the republic, as it had been on the MCS map since 1537 AN when it was claimed by Batavia. As Zhongjing, it was first the capital of the First Jingdaoese Empire from 1586 AN until 1590 AN and then the capital of an independent state that was called Zhongjing and existed until 1604 AN.
