The Federal Railway Bureau is the federal railway and rail transport authority in Sanama. It was formed in 1678 to facilitate the reconstruction of the dilapidated Sanaman railway system. Funds for the expansion will come from oil exports as well as concessions in the Sanaman Antarctic Territory.

History

The existing network in 1678 was a legacy from the time of Shirerithian rule. Benacia Rail Systems Ltd operated a system founded in 1545 with lines from the current easternmost border to Niyi, and from Soli northwards and from there to Fatehpur Sikri and to Mortis Mercatoria. A western line went from Fatehpur Sikri to Spleazure. This system fell into disuse and disrepair over the following 100 years. By 1641, the system consisted of a few maps and stations, with the lines largely stripped of their tracks and the rolling stock sold off or stolen. The only largely surviving line was the Fatehpur Sikri–Spleazure line, with tracks largely left alone due to their remoteness. In 1679, the new military junta declared the restoration of this line to be of national importance, due to it connecting a major Sanaman city with the newly conquered Highpass, as well as on from there to Shireroth.

First expansion

The first objective of the FRD was to connect the major population centers of Sanama. The high-speed Cosimo line connected Acquecalde, Tripoli di Laguna, Palë, Fatehpur Sikri, Brackenridge, Pixa, Kopore, Xalene Sitar, Port Niyi, North Nee City, Niyi, Paharr Niyi, Kahala, Kawite City, Susston and Soli. These cities are the capitals in cantons that contain almost 26 million people, around 30 percent of the total Sanaman population. This system uses at least double track, in certain areas more than that. It was later extended in the east from Soli to Rhan, Sharisa, Tatirha, Pakor City and Tosha City.
