Established in 2017 following the rebirth of the Kingdom of Nova England the Provisional Witan is an alliance of military and local leaders that formed the first Witan following the Great Disaster. The Provisional Witan currently holds all seats within the Chamber and is the only functioning political alliance prior to planned elections, following which the Provisional Witan will disband to allow for elected representatives and other political parties.
Ideology
Due to the temporary nature of the poltical alliance that forms the Provisional Witan there is no firm political ideology that it represents. However its objectives are to ensure the primacy of the reigning monarch and enabling the Kingdom of Nova England to be reborn from the National Redoubt. These core values has seen a rapid expansion of secure zones that now surround Newcastle-Upon-Eastmoor, in addition to a growing military and industrial base.
