'''Taizun''' is a city in northeastern [[Gerenia]], and it is the capital city of [[Barzat]]. Taizun is located on the shores of the [[Northern Sea]].

Taizun was founded as ''Sper''. Soon afterwards, a devastating fire destroyed most of the town, sparing only a few buildings. Then a new settlement was built in a near location, on the old farm "Tayfun" &ndash;which inspired the new name of the town&ndash;.

Taizun currently has a population of about 66,000.

Being a secondary port in Gerenia, maritime commerce is not a main activity. The most important industry in Taizun is tourism, which is in constant growth.

There is a railway line which connects Taizun with [[Ramez (city)|Ramez]] (and [[Port Elerat]]) to the west.
