'''Bee Haven''', is the capital city of [[Beelandia]] (the Moorland Antarctic Territory) within the [[Kingdom of Moorland]]. The city was founded around 1460 as the capital of the Kingdom of Beebland, but due to the extreme weather did not grow like other cities across Micras. At one point the city dwindled to a low point of around one-hundred inhabitants, but in recent years has seen an uptick in growth thanks to ongoing research and increased tourism. Bee Haven featured prominently in the ill-fated [[Misfit War]] which saw the island invaded by [[Babkha]] and [[Menelmacar]]. Much of the defense works from the war are still evident on the island, and have become a point-of-interest for tourists. The city's economy is largely dependent on revenues generated by tourism, fishing, and the export of honey from the [[Hypernostrian Honeybee]].

The discovery of the [[Kaspar Particle Accelerator]] in 1731 prompted renewed interest in [[Hypernostria]] and the development of the Kaspar Particle Accelerator Laboratory (KPAL) a year later. The construction and staffing of the lab, as well as the need to import materials and provisions through Bee Haven, has greatly enhanced the economy of the town and Beelandia as a whole. It has also seen an influx of new residents as many staff and their families have come to live here as part of the ongoing longterm research at the lab.
