Roberto Carlos Mendoza Villareal (born 3.V.1689 AN) is a New Alexandrian politician and business executive serving as Governor of Santander since 1750 AN. Prior to entering politics, Mendoza served as Chief Executive Officer of the Santander Mining Consortium from 1728 AN to 1748 AN. Running on a platform of bringing private sector efficiency to regional government, Mendoza won his first political office in the 1749 AN gubernatorial election with 54.62% of the vote, defeating Federal Consensus Party candidate Isabella Flores.
