The ruling People's Democratic Front is awarded 1924 seats automatically, and it is up to the leadership of the PDF to fill the seats. 102 seats are allocated to the opposition parties. The opposition seats are voted on in elections that generally have low turnout. The Capitalist Party of New Burkland is the only opposition party approved to run in elections, so they automatically win all 102 opposition seats. PDF members are banned from voting for opposition seats.
