A civil war in the Wechua nation that lasted for 11 years (1596-1607) and led to the establishment of the first Wechua Kingdom in 1657 AN. The war was waged between the four sons of the late Wechua ruler Sapa Wechua Inca Roca for the Wechua throne. The war devastated the country and reached a bloody stalemate in its fifth year, where the evenly matched strengths of four brothers saw each one of them installed in the throne as Sapa, only for another to rise and overthrow the other in a year or two.

To end the war, the last two surviving brothers surrendered their claims to the Wechua throne at the behest of the influential clergy of the national church, the Faith of Inti. Both brothers were submitted in an election for the people to choose, the beginning of an organic Wechua tradition of democracy and consensus in governance and policy.

The flag of the Wechua Nation was adopted upon the culmination of this war.
