Jalen Rangmoegatan (né Singh: born 2006) is a Dauian football player who plays as a winger for Daau League North side Southwind Bedok Paya.
Club career
Cezero Negrata
Born to Dalay-Matabese parents, Jalen attended the Nokia Academy for football since young and soon signed with partnership side Cezero Negrata in 2022. He stayed with the CFG affilate team for 3 seasons, playing in the Daau League South. Rangmoegatan was highly regarded as one of the few talented young players in the otherwise mediocre Cezero squad. His talent attracted scouts and prompted an offer from an unnamed Daau Premier League club by January 2024 but saw the offer rescinded due to financial issues. Rangmoegatan chose not to extend with Negrata following takeover rumors and departed the team in the summer of 2024, missing out a chance to play in the Daau Super League.
Bedok Paya
Southwind Bedok Paya in the Daau A1 Semi-Pro League announced Jalen as their new marquee signing for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Rangmoegatan achieved promotion with Southwind Bedok to Daau League North after finishing top of the A1 League table and scoring a personal best 23 goals.
Personal life
Born as Varshall Jalen Rangmoegatan Singh, Jalen's parents divorced when Jalen was 3, causing him to move to Daau with his father. Jalen took on the surname Rangmoegatan when he turned 18 as a sign of respect to his father who raised him alone.
