The skilling (Uppmanlandic: [ˈɧɪl:ˌɪŋ]; plural: skillingar; sign: sk; code: ULS) is the currency of the country of Uppmanland. The currency sign "sk" is the most commonly used, it always follows the value. Banknotes and coins are issued by the Uppmanland State Bank.
One skilling is subdivided into 12 öre (singular; plural öre or ören), which are further subdivided into 48 kringstycken (plural; singular kringstycke). The currency is on the silver standard, with banknotes technically redeemable in silver bullion. The skilling coins are also struck with a certain silver content. All other coins are struck with a certain copper content.
