Text of Treaty

AGREEMENT BETWEEN HURMU AND THE KINGDOM OF CRAITLAND

1. We, Hurmu and the Kingdom of Craitland, Parties to this Agreement, commit ourselves to friendship and peace between our respective peoples.

2. Being both small countries, we face threats from larger powers to our cultural independence and development. Holding that “united we stand, divided we fall” we decide to cooperate with each other in codifying our histories, in developing our languages, and in other areas that we time-to-time agree to cooperate on, while at the same time respecting the uniqueness of our cultures;

3. We will not relegate our relationship into a layer of bureaucracy, but will discuss our issues and common interests fairly and openly with each other;

4. We will encourage visits between our heads of States, heads of governments and between our communities of peoples;

5. Believing that knowledge is the key to the future, we will help each other in codifying histories of our nations, both legendary and actual, on forums and places such as wiki-based portals where everyone willing and capable may contribute to the advancement of the knowledge common to our diverse cultures;

6. We are willing to invite and admit other countries who share our threats, interests and friendship into this Common Bond;

7. This Agreement is to be ratified as a treaty according to the constitutional requirements of both Hurmu and the Kingdom of Craitland. Any alterations to it require ratification.
