(WIP) The Transcaledonia Integration Act, 1758 is an Aerlan law that formally integrated the Transcaledonian Territory into Aerla, giving it full governmental representation.
The Transcaledonian Territory was annexed into Aerla in early 1737 AN, and was without representation on the national for over 20 years. This was due to the region being sparsely populated and sufficient infrastructure not being present.
After the bill was passed, the National Assembly will grow by eleven seats for the 1760 elections, as the Territory's eleven parishes will be incorporated. The exceptions for this rule are the Tribal Trust Administrations (which operate as autonomous native zones) and the city of Kaledonija, which is under joint occupation with Bassaridia Vaeringheim. The city will be administered as a Special Administrative Zone and will receive no representation in the National Assembly.
