Parameters

All parameters are optional. The template omits a row when its value is blank.

Basic information: name (defaults to the page name), native_name (legacy alias: name1), status (banner and status value, defaults to Region), flag, coa, motto, anthem, and image / image_caption.

Geography: capital, largest_city (legacy alias: largecity), other_cities, neighbors, subdivisions / subdivision_title, area, area_rank (legacy alias: arearank), water_area / water_percent, elevation, highest_point, and lowest_point.

Demographics: population (legacy alias: pop), pop_date, pop_rank (legacy alias: poprank), density / density_unit, density_rank, demonym, ethnic_groups, languages (legacy alias: lang), and religion. The default density unit is `/km²`.

Government: governor (legacy alias: viceroy), governor_party, lieutenant and lieutenant_party, head_of_govt_title (legacy title override), legislature, legislature_seats, regional_court, peers, and deputies. Legacy pages may use gov for the second office holder and headofgovt for that office's title.

Economy: gdp, gdp_year, gdp_rank, gdp_per_capita, hdi, hdi_year, hdi_category, currency, and industries.

History and other: established (legacy alias: est), admission, predecessor, abbreviation (legacy alias: abv), postal_code, calling_code, timezone, and website.

Rendering notes

• The older aliases remain supported so existing NAX region pages do not need an immediate coordinated rewrite.
• governor / viceroy is the first executive office. lieutenant is the current name for a second executive office; legacy gov plus headofgovt remains supported.
• peers and deputies are grouped into one Federal representation row. regional_court is shown as its own Government row.
• Do not use a placeholder to mean unknown. Leave the parameter blank and the row will be omitted.
