Parameters

Each parameter in the template is optional. If a parameter is left blank, it will not be displayed in the infobox. Below is a brief description of each parameter:

  • name: The name of the investigation or case (defaults to page name if not specified).
  • image: The filename of an image related to the case.
  • image_size: Size of the image (if different from default).
  • image_caption: Caption for the image.
  • image_alt: Alt text for the image (for accessibility).
  • image_upright: Upright scaling factor for the image.
  • date: Date the incident occurred.
  • time: Time the incident occurred.
  • location: Location where the incident occurred.
  • coordinates: Geographic coordinates of the location.
  • type: Type of crime or investigation (e.g., Homicide, Fraud, Missing person).
  • cause: Cause of death or incident, if applicable.
