Two-round elections
When no candidate reaches 50% in the first round, populate fr_round1_percentage1 and fr_round1_percentage2 with the first-round percentages. The infobox will automatically display a "First round" subheader with those figures, followed by a "Second round" subheader before the winner. When these fields are blank (as in 1747 and 1751), the round labels do not appear and the infobox renders as before.
Departmental elections
Prefer the structured fields (departmental_winner, departmental_won, etc.) for elections from 1747 onwards. The legacy departmental_elections free-text field is retained for older articles and will render if populated.
