Talenore City

Talenore City is the capital of Talenore and its cultural, economic and political center. With just over nine million inhabitants, the city is home to almost 85 percent of the population of the country, on a quarter of its territory, making Talenore effectively a city-state. Of Talenore's 26 governorates, 18 form part of Talenore City. Each governorate is self-governing, but coordinate in the Metro Talenore Authority, whose chairperson is informally recognised as the mayor of Talenore City. The chairpersonship rotates among the governors every year. The city contains the governorate Hangman's Corner, the most densely populated governorate in the nation with over 30,000 people per square kilometer. Areas of the governorate are considered to be some of the most densely populated in the world.
