Shiao Maeimaei (Kainan: 蕭美镁; born 1999) is a Krasno professional futsal player who plays as a forward for Belaov Treble futsal and the Krasnovlac national futsal team.
Early life
Shiao was born in Belaov to a Kainan family. At a young age, Shiao was exposed to football but had no interest pursuing it professionally, he was instead a freestyler who often went to freestyle competitions as a kid. He attended Belaov High School and joined the debate club.
Club career
Shiao signed for Belaov Treble's futsal team after his graduation from secondary school.
International career
Shiao was called up for the Krasnovlac national futsal team ahead of the 2023 SEEFF Futsal Championship and was given captaincy. He scored his first hattrick on 25 January 2023 against Daau but missed an open goal in the following game against Mataba.
