Shake 'n Bake Restaurants, Inc., a restaurant franchise established in North Lyrica by a syndicate of former forestry workers and lumberjacks, whose operations were capitalised by a mixture of corporate investments and federal relief funds. The first restaurant under the brand opened in Maigneux during the eighth month of 1750 AN.
"Shake and Bake" was an old euphemism for flushing Vanic insurgents out from under cover, utilising thermite grenades, during the Great Vanic Revolt. The term still had a certain sentimental resonance amongst the settler community, and thus became a punning title for the restaurant brand which, in an effort to conform to the name it bestowed upon itself, presented an initial menu offering around milkshakes and baked jacket potatoes.
