The pink spotted nutcracker (Nucifraga aemelienses) is a passerine bird, part of the corvid family, that is native to the Confoederatio Aemilia where it rapidly evolved from the common Cibolan nutcracker after Princess Emilia Antoinette ordered the entire country to be planted with so many pink cherry blossom shrubs, that pink became an important camouflage colour for wild animals. In 1727, Princess Emilia Antoinette became so endeared by the pink spotted nutcracker that she ordered that the small bird replace the flamingo as the national bird of the Confoederatio Aemilia.
