The People's Compliance Bureau is tasked with ensuring that the various federal agencies comply with decisions made by the Federal Coordination Committee and the other executive committees. Each agency has an Inspector General employed by and reporting to the bureau. To compel compliance, the PCB can issue comments, reviews and fines. In especially egregious cases, agency officials can be held individually responsible. The PCB receives complaints from the Inspectors General, through a whistleblower function, and from the public. The bureau can also sue any agency in federal court to compel it to act in a certain way or to nullify an agency action. Regional and local compliance is handled through the political structure, since the people's republics are not technically subordinate to the national executive committees.
