Plot

In 1707, a civil war breaks out in Kildare between its government and pro-Jingdaoese Ultranationalists. Meanwhile, a separatist group led who hold anti-Raspur Pact and XC views, seizes power in Trakijstania through a coup d'état. In response, Floria invades the country. A platoon of MARSOF, led by Lieutenant Vincent, fail to capture the separatist leader and later engage in urban combat in a nearby city with support from a T-113.

Meanwhile, new Florian MARSOF operator Sergeant John "Sponge" McDavid is recruited into Captain Pound's team, which conducts two operations; the first leads them to infiltrate a cargo ship in the Gulf of Esgality. Neutralizing the armed Kildarians on board, the team secure a nuclear device labelled in Arabic. Enemies scuttle the ship, but the MARSOF escapes by helicopter.

The second operation tasks the MARSOF with rescuing an ally, a Kildarian informant named Niko working within the Ultranationalist party. Assisted by Kildarian loyalist forces, Pound's team extracts Niko. However, their helicopter is brought down, forcing the team to make their way through enemy territory with support from an GH-4 Warthog gunship before they are extracted. Intelligence gathered from these two missions indicates that Separatists in Trakijstania may be in possession of a nuclear device.

The Apollonia Command launches a full-scale assault on the Trakijstania presidential palace, aware of the possible nuclear device. As MARSOF raids the palace, the Confederate States Armed Forces engage Separatist ground forces. However, the assault ends in catastrophe when the nuclear device suddenly detonates, wiping out most of the city along with everyone in it.

This is a significant setback for MARSOF and Confederate Armed Forces with 30,000 troops eliminated in the blink of an eye.
