MicrasWiki:Wikiproject FMF/Group and knockout
This page is part of the FMF WikiProject and is a proposal for the general style and contents of an article on a league season. Please discuss any changes on the talk page before editing this page.
Article title should be composed of, in the following order:
- Year(s) of the season, with en dash as interval mark: 1234, 1234–35, 2999–3000.
- Name of the cup.
(The introduction should be kept roughly similar to this style. The infobox should keep line breaks to a minimum. Included information should be kept at the minimum because of the restricted space; for example, starting rounds for European competitions or flags and clubs and flagicon of top goalscorers should be avoided. Any data which cannot be directly retrieved from the league, results or goalscorers tables of the article must be sourced.)
The 3333 World Template Championships (also known as the 3333 Templatonian Bank World Cup for sponsorship reasons) is the 33rd edition of the Template Cup. It began on August 30 and ended on September 27. Templatonia is the defending champion.

List of qualified teams
(If the competition does not have its own dedicated qualifying competition, but instead selects teams from other competitions, for example, the Champions' Leagues, then a list of teams should be given here along with their method of qualifying.)

Group stage
Group A
(Each row should only be highlighted once a team's status is guaranteed. This is in contrast to league seasons, where letters are used to indicate a team's status, and the row is highlighted for the entirety of the season.)

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Templastan | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 3 | 0 | +3 | 9 | Advances to semi-finals |

Group B
(Until a team's status is confirmed, only the cell describing the qualification information should be highlighted.)
Team | Pld | W | D | L | GF | GA | GD | Pts | Qualification |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Templastan | 2 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | +1 | 4 | Advances to semi-finals |

Templatonia B | 2 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 2 | −2 | 0 | Unable to qualify |
Table formatting
The following set of rules have been formed by consensus to display these tables:
- For links to other tournaments, the year should be omitted, unless it is not immediately clear which season a team qualifies for. That means "2015 EMUFA Cup" would be "EMUFA Cup" (with the description Transfer to EMUFA Cup).
- Use the following colouring scheme:
Type | Green | Blue | Yellow | Red | Black | Extra Color |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
All | Direct qualification for the next stage | Secondary qualification, or qualification for play-off | Tertiary qualification | Team is eliminated | Teams does not complete its fixtures and/or their results are expunged or void | Other qualification |
Other shades | ||||||
Knock-out stages
(Regardless of the number of matches, the Football box template should be used for all matches in the knock-out stages in this type of competition.)
