The MSS SpecSat is a hyperspectral imaging satellite designed and manufactured by Javelin Industries' subsidiary, Minerva Space Systems. Its purpose is to support military operations by providing high-resolution, on-demand hyperspectral imaging (HSI) capabilities. The complete SpecSat system comprises a spacecraft with a hyperspectral imaging sensor payload as the space segment, and an operations center, mission data center, and mobile ground station as the ground segment.
