The Micronational Cartography Society (MCS) undertook an extraordinary vote amongst its member nations on 16 February 2010 following a proposal by the Uantiri representative to officially amend the size represented by a single pixel on the claimsmap to 12km by 12km.[1]. Although usually modifications to the claimsmap are made by a simple majority of the MCS Council, the King of Uantir, King Rook, sought opinions from other MCS members in order to standardise the measurements of the map.
