Linda Angelton is a Senyan politician who was the nation's President twice, first between 1700 AN and 1710 AN, and then again between 1720 AN and 1730 AN. She represnted the Senyan Workers Party
A noted historian in her home city of Svorgas, Angelton joined the Senyan Workers Party as a student in 1681, and often assisted campaigns during her early years of membership. Originally working for the Senyan Museum of Women and subsequently the Senyan Armed Forces Museum, she was elected into the Svorgas city council in 1688 AN, serving for 4 years, before being elected to the National Democratic Forum in 1692 AN. She quickly became a rising star for the party there, and was nominated as their Presidential candidate in 1700 AN, before going on to win the election.
Angelton is known as a quiet figure in the media, but is respected for her political strategy and for her diplomacy. She is not as hard-left as some other members of the party, which has helped broaden the party's electoral reach.
