The Cruz (₵) is the official currency of Gran Verionia. It is divided into 100 Centimos. The value of the cruz is pegged to the Batavian Kruys. Established in 1669 as the official currency of the Republic of Los Liberados, the cruz is minted by the Iron Company on behalf of the Liberadosan state. In 1680, the cruz was adopted by the Verionian states after the collapse of the Salidash. It is presently the official currency of Gran Verionia.
Usage
The Cruz is the legal tender for the entire Confederated States of Gran Verionia. It is the main currency of the nation, which also retains the Salidash and the Kasterburger Thaler as regional currency. It is also an official currency for trade purposes in the Batavian Confederation. The currency is listed on the Micras Pint Index, which can be used to determine exchange rates with other currencies.
