The Hotel du Babkha is a luxury five-star hotel located in the historic Alcazaba district of Punta Santiago, Alduria, Nouvelle Alexandrie. Established as one of the country's most prestigious hotels, it regularly hosts foreign heads of state, dignitaries, and government officials visiting the city.
History
The hotel was originally owned and operated by the HotelBev Group until 1710 AN, when federal authorities of Nouvelle Alexandrie confiscated the property due to unpaid debts.[1][2] Following eight years of government administration, the Blackfriars' Estate Management Group LLC acquired the hotel in 1718 AN through a transaction facilitated by the Society for Benevolent Investment. Under Blackfriars' management, the hotel has undergone significant renovations and modernization while maintaining its historic character.

- Alcazaba Lounge serves as the hotel's main bar and casual dining space, incorporating traditional Babkhi architectural elements. Live piano performances are scheduled nightly from 19:00 to 23:00.
- Poolside Bar & Grill operates seasonally (month III through X) adjacent to the rooftop infinity pool, offering grilled dishes and cocktails with views of the Punta Santiago skyline.
- La Patisserie provides breakfast service and operates as a café throughout the day, specializing in pastries and artisanal coffee.
La Sala Harmonía
La Sala Harmonía, also known as the Hotel du Babkha Philharmonic Hall, is a 1,200-seat concert venue within the hotel complex. The venue gained international recognition following Sylvia Marais' 1716 AN live album recording "Live In Hotel du Babkha," which achieved platinum status in multiple markets. The hall hosts approximately 180 performances annually, ranging from classical concerts to contemporary music showcases. Notable performances include the annual Punta Santiago Symphony Orchestra gala and the Nouvelle Alexandrie Jazz Festival's opening ceremony.
Additional facilities
The hotel includes a 2,500 square meter spa and wellness center offering therapeutic treatments and fitness equipment, conference facilities in the business center that can accommodate up to 500 attendees, and a retail arcade featuring twelve boutique shops with luxury brands and local artisans.
