Heimat Steelworks is a subsidiary of Sokoku Industries, with its headquarters based in Agnigrad. The company is the largest mining and steel producer in Greater Kildare and the Imperial Republic of Shireroth.
As one of the leading producers of iron ore, coal, coke, and other materials used in steelmaking (most directly mined in the resource rich Dalmacija region), as well as finished steel products such as bars, plates, pipes, tubes, and wire rods, it plays a critical role in supporting the region's economy and infrastructure development. It was one of the few companies which received impressive grants during the era of the shortlived Democratic Apollonian Republic of Kildare, to restore and expand its equipment to state-of-the-art facilities with cutting-edge technologies. The company has been of immense importance for Sokoku Industries thanks to its domination of the steel industry in Greater Kildare.
It operates several research centers focused on developing new processes and products that meet the growing demand for high-quality steel in various Shirerithian industries.
