The Florian rugby league civil war was a dispute over control of the top-level professional rugby league competition in the Florian Republic which started in late March 2018, between the Florian Republic Rugby League and Florian National Rugby League.

Both organisations have pursued heavy legal action over the governance of the sport in the country and it occurred after a controversial league structure change which led to 20 professional clubs being kicked out of the Florian Republic Rugby League's second-tier competition. The war only lasted two days after the Florian court declared that the formation of the Florian National Rugby League was illegal and the clubs involved in the Florian National Rugby League were forced to disband.

The War

On the 26th March 2018, 20 clubs which were unhappy with the administration and broke away to form the Florian National Rugby League. These clubs immediately withdrew from the Florian Republic Rugby League organised competitions.
