Professional career
Draft and minor leagues
Gallegos was selected 18th Overall, a compensatory pick in the 2021 SLB Draft and was immediately assigned to the Ironwell Lawmen of the Regional Conference Baseball (AA classification). Felipe made rapid progress and not long after was promoted to the Dragonmoor Steamrollers, the Dodgers National Conference League affiliate. He would remain at the Steamrollers until his promotion to the Dodgers in 2023.
