An exotic zone permit is required to hunt within the Tiger River Conservation Zone in Sayaffallah. The permit is given out in a lottery style system after a fee of 50 Golden Camelars is charged for entry (equivalent of €47/£40) into the lottery. Only 5 permits are issued allowing the bearer to hunt a maximum of 10 snowy tigers. Those with permits are given a month randomly that they may hunt in so as to ensure that the hunting does not have any adverse impact on population curve. Furthermore before hunting all are required to participate in an intensive 2 week survival crash course within the Conservation Zone before they are granted the issued permit. If a hunter fails to pass the course they forfeit the permit and it is given to only 1 other person. If the 1 other person selected also fails the course the permit is withdrawn for that year.
