Refers to Alexandrian Electoral Commissioner. Others may exist. -Ed.
The Electoral Commissioner is a new position that was created in 2005 with the ratification of the Alexandrian Constitution of 2005. The Constitution does not specify all the details about the position such as how selected, by who and the specific duties. Article 23 specifies that "under the supervision of the Electoral Commissioner, the ballots shall be tallied."
The Electoral Commissioner is responsible for the administration of the Prime Ministerial elections. The Electoral Commissioner is assisted in carrying out this mandate by the State Electoral Commission.
